Who we are

AMASSUNU is a cultural and academic institution of highest scientific qualifications engaged, in a comprehensive way, to research, publishing, and teaching on natural environment and biomimetic ecology, the development of international cooperation projects, the implementation of sustainable R + D + I projects and services, organization of public awareness activities and advice on environmental matters.

Newly created, AMASSUNU aims to promote sustainable development, protection of biodiversity and traditional cultural heritage, from the perspective of biomimicry or imitation of nature.

At its headquarters (Basque Country) and in their delegations from Colombia, Mexico and Chile, AMASSUNU has an important staff of excellent academic and professional experts (engineering, agronomy, biology, law, sociology, anthropology …) and with extensive experience in the field of sustainability and the environment.

AMASSUNU further provides for an integrated team of professionals in the field of New Technologies of Information and Communication Technology (ICT) to develop scientific and informative documentaries and marketing services and corporate imaging in environmental matters at international level.

The team of professionals and experts from AMASSUNU works from an interdisciplinary perspective, and strictly adhere to the aspiration to extend the paradigm of sustainability through the upgrading and restoration of the ecological wealth of traditional knowledge or native cultures and the socialization of behavior patterns which tend to the environmental balance in the society of XXI century.

Mode of Financing

Our support comes from various institutions and agencies, public or private. However,  AMASSUNU do not accept funding or donations that violate the ethical principles and the social mission of the organization.
